1950's Teddy Bear

A bear, I think, would have been between 12" & 18" in height - reference the child (myself) holding him as a guide. The photo was taken between 1952-56 & distinctive features of the bear were (from memory): black shiny PVC-like pads on arms & feet (seen shiny in photo): & large ears on the side of his head. I don't remember there being any squeaker or bells & all limbs were moveable. I think he was a golden colour fur (possibly mohair) that was appx. just under 0.5" long. He had stocky legs & no specific shape to hands or feet. I believe he was purchased in the UK & possibly in the London/Middlesex area.

Hi
Its hard to id as the picture is not that clear and the description could match many bears.

Chad Valley was very big in the 50's in the UK and the ears looks similar to other Chad Valley bears or the time.
