Cheetah Or Leopard Print Teddy

cheeta teddy bear

The bear has either a cheetah or a leopard skin print. He has moveable joints and head which is achieved with wooden disks. Amber coloured glass eyes. Is mohair I believe He has a felt label across his foot which has worn away over time. I think he may have had a growler but this doesn't work any more. He is 47cm tall and 30 cms wide across the shoulders. His nose is stitched, black. I bought him at an auction in Warwickshire, in a box with several other bears, including two Deans Toy ones. I would love to know more about him, and in particular identify which bears had a felt label across their foot (see pic)

I have managed to come across the exact same bear. Although he does not have a label across the bottom of his foot. He is 12.5" tall and about 4" wide. I can feel what feels like a hole in his left ear where there could have been a button. I would like to know if it is in fact a Steiff bear.

Hi
the fur fabric is rather unusual so I am wondering if this is what is called an artists bear. I.E a bear made by an individual rather than a company.

Unfortunately I have no information on this bear. Maybe someone else will have seen it before. Good luck.
