My Dumpster Bears

Gramps and Mr Green

Gramps and Mr Green

I can't bear to see a teddy thrown out into the cold. So when I looked out of my window and saw some brown fur I just had to go down and see what it was.

When I got there, amongst a pile of rubbish thrown out by my neighbour was these two very large and lovely bears. I must admit they didn't looked their best, in fact they were covered in sorts of nasty gunk. But I could see the bears true beauty underneath all that mess and I knew that a quick gentle spin in he washing machine would soon sort them out, I was right.

I call these bears ‘Gramps’ and Mr Green . Mr Gramps is so large that he acts as an armchair for two of my other bears who sit on one each of his legs.

The all brown fellow looks much like my Summit Collection Bear from around 1990 ish.My little chap came with a small peach bow-tie which was stitched under his chin. He also has a small D shaped tail.
Barney Is his name. I just wondered if your bear is indeed the cousin to mine. Perhaps you could find the small cotton tag with the company name on it. Oh well, just wondered. I will post a pic so you can take a look.Cheers.
