Edward the Kangaroo teddy?

This is Edward. I cannot find another bear with elbow AND knee joints. He had mohair fur over old mattress wadding, it looks like. His paws are suede. I guess he is around 1940's born. I wonder if he was made for someone. There is no tag and he is not a Steif. He is fully jointed including his head. It seems like he should be riding a bike with those arm and knee joints. His face looks like a kangaroo and he had a large hump. Iv searched everywhere and I cant find him. What do you think? I live in Aus and thats why I am wondering about him being handmade.

Reminds me of a bear I once saw, it was riding a toy-bike. Maybe the bike got lost/broken and the bear is still there, now with you? It is a beautiful bear.

I don't think it is a kangaroo just an unusual design for a teddy bear. I must admit I have not seen one like this before. Would be interesting to see if anyone else recognizes him.
