14cm articulated teddy. At least 50 years old.

This teddy was given to me by an elderly relative when I was small(in the 60's). He is stuffed with wood wool I think. He has wires that go through from one arm to the other - and the same for the legs. He has little glass eyes. His fur is actually is pretty good condition considering how old he is. I have always wondered where he came from and where he was made. I can't see any way of identifying him. It would be great if someone had any idea on who made these very cute little bears. he is only 14cm tall.
