75+ German bear

My bear is 3.5 inches high. A German family gave to my uncle in 1946 as a thank you for the food parcels he gave them. He was part of the liberating army & the German family had no food so he befriended and helped them.

My mum was expecting me in February 1947 & toys were scarce. He has been a treasured part of our family for 75 years and always has a place on my Christmas tree. The teddy has articulated legs & arms & a really cute face. I think the German family had owned teddy for some years before 1946.
