I found this beautiful giant golden brown bear in a thrift store. He is a whopping 29 inches tall from ear tips to paws. He is fully jointed and head turns. He maintains a pose. He feels firmly stuffed and has a growler box but it's growl is not very loud. His nose is brown floss that is vertically stiched. His eyes are glass, brown with black pupils. He has a white cloth tag on his left lower leg with red lettering that states Made in England. I'd like to know maker, age and value of bear. Thanks.

Hello, what a lovely looking bear you have! I am by no means an expert but I saw a bear with a label similar to this (font and colour of letters) on another website and he was a Pedigree bear. The history is available online but I believe he dates to before 1950s as they moved their production to Ireland after that.
I could very well be wrong and happy to be corrected by anyone!
