Boo Boo Bear

My bear is 16 inches tall with gray mohair. He has two toned glass eyes with a black sewed on nose. All his limbs and head articulate, i think he is a growler but not working. He has a tag on his upper back but can not decipher writing. I do think he is an older bear because I bought him 25 years ago from an elderly woman that said she's owned the bear for a long time. I have no idea what type of bear and would appreciate any information about him. Thank you!

Hi! your teddy bear was made by Catherine Bordi, who was one of the early bear makers. Her company was called The Chocolate bear because there was a recipe on each paper tag that came with the bear. Here is a link to one of her other bears, so you can the tag. If you google her name, you will see lots of his bear cousins. :)

Love the colour. Grey is not a common colour for teddy bears, but it certainly works.
