Tagged teddy Gae Sharrp #3/1000 found sewn into center back between shoulder blade area. Bear has jointed neck arms and legs. no mouth, rather vertical seam begins below black nose downward to bow on joint moveable neck. Eyes orangish-brown with black iris. cotton bow in red with mosiac diamond in yellow center of diamond circle light blue. matching fur are beige-brown felted feet & front paws. Bear 8" tall sitting & 11" tall standing. Arms curl up slightly 6 inch length. legs 3 1/2 inch to heel with an additional 1 3/4 inch of foot straight out from leg. Question what year was bear made by Gae Sharp And His $ value today. In excellent condition. What other information is pertinant should I know as a beggining collector about this bear.

His name is Mr. Saunders (Grandpa). I was told only 55 were actually made. He came with another bear. Which is black with white eyes with black centers. It is from the Iowa Teddy Bear Makers Guild.
