I don't know anything about Old Teddy Bears, can you help me?

Close up of eye

About 10 years ago I was cleaning a house for a very elderly wealthy woman and she gave me this old teddy bear and told me to put it away for my daughter. I just covered it with very loosely with a clear garbage bag and put it on a shelf. I take it out from time to time but I have never seen one online that looks like it.

It is an off white color, has no tags of any sort. The eyes are plastic with the black dot inside, it looks like at some point the nose fell off, almost like it was like a stick pin. It is not hinged and appears to be filled with straw??? It is about 22 inches long, the chest stands out quite a bit and I think it's straw because it is hard as a rock.

Hi
From first glance it looks like a bear from the 50's or 60's. There's just something about the look of the bear and the styling at the time.

A lot of bears at that time were filled with a foam which over time can go very hard or even crumble.

Perhaps another viewer will be able to give you a better idea of it's age.
