Missing Ear Teddy Bear

I believe my teddy bear either belonged to my auntie who was born in 1928 or my mum who was born in 1940. He is fully jointed has a lovely growl up but unfortunately he’s missing his left ear his right ear has been reattached quite crudely using hand stitching. At the top of his legs where they join his body the material which I believe is mohair (blonde) is worn away and you can see some of the inside stuffing. To me it looks like straw. There are no embroidered claws on his feet or on his paws and his nose and mouth are sewn in brown cotton. He’s eyes are glass clear with a black centre for the pupil. There is family rumour that he has connections with the Churchill family as my grandma worked in service below stairs at Blenheim, but I have no provenance to be able to substantiate that. I believe she stopped working there when she found out that she was expecting my auntie, met my grandad and was married at six months pregnant. I’ll be really grateful for any help or suggestion with regard to his brand and possibly whether I should or shouldn’t pursue having it repaired thank you thank you.
