My Mother's Teddy Bear

My Mother's Teddy Bear

Hi, I'm searching for information about my mother's old teddy bear. My mother was born in 1932 and was given this bear in 1934. We unfortunately don't have any information about it. He found his way to another member of my mother's family and was worn out so he had to be stitched back together. He sadly only has one eye now. He has lost most of his hair - not sure whether it is mohair but pretty sure it isn't artificial plush. He does crackle when you hold him so I'm guessing he is made from wood wool or sawdust. He has a small hump on his back. He has a sewn on nose and mouth and also sewn on toe marks. His arms and legs move but his head is stationary - it looks like his head has been resewn on but can't be sure about that. He looks very similar to the bear in the photo on the website under 'History'. Any info about him would be much appreciated.
