My Poor Little Teddy Bear

My Poor Little Teddy Bear

This poor little teddy bear was my Mom or Dad's Teddy Bear from the late 1920's or very early 1930's. This bear has many issues or been loved a whole lot. His eyes are gone and his nose has either unraveled or been sewn together. His body is stuffed with straw. His pads are very worn but has sewn pads. I can feel a spring in his belly. One of my pics shows his legs have a joint my of a wheel of cardboard and secured with a metal pin assembly. Teddy is 19.5 inches in length from the tip of his ears to the bottom of his legs. His leg length is 7.5 inches from the bottom of his leg to the top of his hip. His arms are 7 inches from the tip of his paw to the top of the shoulder. His fur is not synthetic and is more likely wool as it is not a plastic residue when burned. He has been in cedar chest for many years and only uncovered this past summer when a storage unit was gone through by myself. I am wondering if anyone has any information to pass on to me as to whether this poor little bear was manufactured and by what manufacturer. He is still in one piece and if am wondering if I should have it repaired or just love him for who he is!!
