Hi

It would be lovely to know a little bit about my teddy bear. I grew up with this teddy bear in the early 1950's whilst I can't remember when I first got her I believe that she was not new as even from my earliest memories she looked a bit tired and worn out. I keep referring to teddy as a her which I always thought she was and of course she wore petty coat and a dress although I believe that my mother may have made that for her
Her condition is worn but she always was and both her hands and feet are threadbare

When you press the upper part of her chess there is a metal piece in the middle and judging by its sound it is rusty - I believe that it's part of her internal construction but who knows

I would be interested to know where she was made and made an idea of what period as I said earlier she was not new in the 1950 s and things were always passed down although again my parents never said it was there's

Any comments would be much appreciated
