Old Teddy Bear - at least 60 years old

60 years old teddy bear

Hi,
this Teddy bear has ever been around me since I can remember. It looks quite like a Steiff but has no button in the ear - maybe taken off by precaution for not hurting the child.

35 cms long, arms, legs and head articulated. Eyes brown, nose black plastic
Interior: torso wood wool i suppose (crunchy when you squeeze), rest of body smooth unknown stuff..

Would be great if somebody could give me more information about this Teddy.

I believe your bear was made by the Chiltern company. The plastic nose would probably date it to the 50s and onward.
