Possible Pooh bear?

Hello,

This is a teddy bear that belonged to my mom who was born 1969, so I’d assume it’s from the 60s or 70s and would have been bought in Canada.

She’s referred to it as Winnie the Pooh, but I haven’t had any luck finding another like it using that as a search parameter so it may just be a lookalike.

It was her most beloved toy, but she lost it about 20 years ago - with the new Christopher Robin movie out she’s been reminiscing and really seems to miss him.

Unfortunately I can’t provide much info about him beyond what can be seen in the photo: yellow colour, black plastic eyes, sitting position, short limbs and almost no neck, arms that are angled upwards, very round ears, small nose. It looks to be about 12” tall, maybe smaller.

When I asked my mom what he was made of she enthusiastically responded “fuzz!”.. not sure how helpful that is.

I know how much she loved him, and I would love any more info or leads on who this little fellow might be or what his origins are!
