Purple Bear from the 1970's.

I don't know how I am going to get 400 words in about this bear, but I will try. The bear is two toned, looks like a purple and white. His belly jingled, not like jingle bells, but like those found in old toys. He had green glass eyes. He was purchased for me at Christmas time between the years of 1974 and 1976 at a pharmacy in Danvers Ma. I don't know how long he is, but I'm guessing about 18-20 inches based on the size of him from my holding him. He was my favorite bear as a little kid. He got put in the basement when my mom learned I was allergic to dust and my stuffed animals were making me sick. Unfortunately the basement got wet and he got moldy and musty and I had to throw him away. That was about 40 years ago and I have looked for him ever since. My mom told me the story of when I saw it in the store I begged my mom to buy it. She said we couldn't afford it. I begged and pleaded and she finally said, maybe you can ask Santa for him. That wasn't good enough and I said to her "You tell my Nana, she'll get him for me". Apparently my mother went back later that day to make sure Santa brought him that Christmas.

His belly isn't a music box. He literally had bells in his belly. Anyone who knows who this bear was made by please email me. I have found close to him, but not him. Thank you for helping me out.
