Special Bear today

I'm a 32 year old woman. I've had Special Bear for as long as I can remember. I slept with him when I was little. Any tags were cut off ages ago. He's been completely restuffed twice. He has two or three stitches and his face is very well worn. For the longest time I couldn't figure out his identity. My father only remembered that he had gotten him for me from a truck stop one Valentine's Day. No year or anything.

Then today my boyfriend was able to figure it out. Gibson Valentine's Day Teddy Bear 1993. No wonder I can't remember not having him- I was 2!!

Special Bear has survived several moves and bad living situations. Somehow I have never lost him.
