trying to identify large old teddy bear

I bought this bear at an estate sale and wondering if anyone knows the maker and if it"s worth anything. It's got a little wear showing the old straw like stuffing. It's approximately 32" tall with moveable arms, legs and head and a fairly large hump back. My first thought was that maybe it was a Steiff but It has no ear tag. Hoping some of you more knowledgeable people can help. Thank you. John
