Well worn rubber faced crying teddy

I got this bear from my uncle when I was 1 year old (1961) and took him everywhere for a decade. He still sits in my living room. I have seen a picture of the identical bear online (in much better condition) but with no identification. I’d love to know more about his origin - my uncle, an Air Force pilot, died in 1969 while flying a mission from Japan. It would mean a lot to me to know more about this gift from my Godfather.
