Who made my bear (brand) and any leads on replacement musical tie

Hi I am looking for an original replacement musical tie for my teddy bear. He was gifted to me on Christmas of 1988. He is shown below as a fresh new bear vs now. The music box inside no longer works and I would like to replace it or contact the orig manufacturer if possible. Also Im just curious and I would just like to know where he comes from. I can't remember ever seeing a tag on him anywhere. I think he may have come from Sears as the gifter worked there, but would love to verify.
