WWII Tommy Vintage Bear

WWII Tommy Vintage Bear

This chap is 20 inches tall and has roundish ears perched high on his head. His head turns left and right on disc joints. Glass eyes and a stitched nose / mouth. 3 stitched lines to paws and feet. His pads on paws and feet are elongated and made of a soft material. He has a high hump on his back. Disc jointed and he has a 3" long growler (which unfortunately doesn't work). The child who owned him had him kitted out in a knitted WWII 2 piece army outfit with undershirt. However I believe that this Bear is much older than WWII as, despite being protected by his outfit, his Mohair is evenly very worn over the whole Bear. I am also fortunate to have an original picture, from the 1930s of this Bear (Pre WWII outfit) with his little girl owner in the garden..
